Tade is interested in the programming and engineering of the robot. Outside of school, Tade is a drummer and has a kid-friendly YouTube channel that he loves. |
Jacob
Jacob is currently a junior at Mount Paran Christian School. He is currently working to get a stem scholarship. Jacob took a class last summer under the Duke Tip program on aerospace engineering and the problems encountered in this field. Outside of robotics he likes to mountain bike and plays the piano. He was in robotics last year, and this year he hopes to become a leader to the newer members of robotics. Jacob will do all of these things under the power and the will of God. |
Sarah
Sarah is currently a sophomore at Mount Paran Christian School, and this is her second year competing in FIRST Tech Challenge. She is interested in documenting the engineering design process, working with the business department, and planning outreach for the team this year, as well as mentoring the younger students. In the future, Sarah hopes to use the practical skills that she is learning in robotics to pursue a career in the medical field. |
Kristy
Kristy is currently a senior at MPCS. As a part of Eagle Robotics her freshman, junior, and senior years, she has continually been a part of marketing and outreach. In addition to this, she has enjoyed gaining more technical skills and knowledge in programming. Kristy’s goal for this FTC season is to ensure that Eagle Robotics has a tangible and positive impact on the Mount Paran School Community, the FTC Robotics Community, and beyond. In the future, Kristy is interested in pursuing Medicine with an undergraduate degree in biology/biomedical sciences. |
Ben
Ben is currently a senior at Mount Paran Christian School. He participated in FLL for one year in eighth grade. Now, Ben will complete his fourth year in FTC. He hopes to expand his knowledge and skills in engineering, as well as mentor the younger team. Ben has primarily worked on programming and taking care of the electrical components of the robot. However, this year he is hoping to become more involved with building the robot, as well as documenting the engineering design process. After high school, Ben is interested in pursuing a mechatronics degree at Kennesaw State University. |
Emily
Emily is currently a senior at Mount Paran Christian School. This is her third year competing in FTC with Eagle Robotics. Emily mainly works with the business division, however, she is working to learn more about the programming and structural aspects of robotics. Emily desires to work in the biomedical engineering field, specifically working with pediatrics or potentially develop a physical training center for children with prosthetics. Emily believes her robotics experience is teaching valuable life skills that will extend beyond her high school career. Outside of robotics, Emily loves to serve wherever she is needed, both through school activities and working in her church. |
Luke
Luke is a senior at Mount Paran and has been a part of FIRST robotics for a total of four seasons: one FLL season and three FTC seasons. Through FTC, Luke aims to continue building teamwork skills, programming abilities, and character. Aside from robotics, he is in the Boy Scouts of America (Troop 241), goes mountain biking, and spends free time computer gaming. |
Grant
Grant is a sophomore at Mount Paran this year. This will be his second year competing on an FTC robotics team, and he was on the Mount Paran FLL team for three years. This year, he hopes to help contribute to the success of his team and glorify God in the process. Grant is currently enrolled in AP Computer Science Principles, and he hopes to eventually become an engineer. Outside of robotics, Grant likes to play lacrosse, banjo, and trombone. |
Eric
Eric is a junior at Mount Paran Christian School, and this is his third year of FTC. Last year, Eric advanced to Worlds as a member of team 11364, and he spent the previous three years in FLL. He works closely with designing, building, and driving the robot, and he will do whatever it takes to go back to Worlds. Eric is an Eagle Scout and wants to pursue Engineering. Outside of school, Eric likes to play tennis, compete in robotics, and participate in community service. |
