2008-2009

The game for 2008 was named "Just Plane Crazy."  Appropriately named, the task issued for the robots in the game was to assemble parts of an aircraft into a single airplane unit, then hang the plane from any of a number of magnets suspended overhead.  The task proved nearly impossible for almost all teams, given the equipment provided.  Most teams focused on a particular set of tasks and went about repeating that process.  No competition team was able to do all of the required steps.
